Due to mental illness, drug side effects and providing elder care for my mother and my father, my ability to select subjects was limited. Many of these pictures are things I found on the ground while walking my mother’s dog, running errands for my parents, and going to doctors. Many of the pictures were taken while stopped in traffic or at red lights.

Pareidolia, Abstract Expressionism, Surrealism, and straight documentation shaped the aesthetics of this work. Pareidolia is finding meaning in random data- i.e. seeing clouds that resemble bunnies.
